The designated operator of Argentina, Correo Oficial de la República Argentina, wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that, owing to scheduled infrastructure work, Ministro Pistarini International Airport (Ezeiza – EZE) will be unable to receive aircraft carrying cargo from 25 October to 11 November 2026. As a result, Correo Oficial de la República Argentina will be unable to receive inbound international postal dispatches during that period. Designated operators are therefore requested to implement the following measures: * Dispatch postal items at origin by 19 October 2026 at the latest, to maximize the possibility of arrival in Argentina before 25 October 2026; * Take the above cut-off date into account when planning dispatches related to electoral processes or other time-sensitive mailings; * Coordinate with airlines and transport providers to avoid postal dispatches remaining in transit or pending delivery to Argentina during the suspension period; * Where possible, inform Correo Oficial de la República Argentina of the final dispatch sent before the cut-off date (by e-mail at [email protected]). Correo Oficial de la República Argentina cannot assume responsibility for delays affecting dispatches that remain in transit or cannot be delivered in Argentina during the above-mentioned period as a consequence of the airport restrictions. The acceptance of inbound mail is expected to resume after 11 November 2026, subject to confirmation of the restoration of normal cargo operations at Ministro Pistarini International Airport. The situation will also affect outbound international mail from Argentina. Alternative arrangements are being assessed for certain destinations and, if necessary, further information will be communicated separately. Correo Oficial de la República Argentina thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding.
